MediWing vs ChatGPT Health
ChatGPT Health is a consumer product for the US market — connect your records, ask about your results, get a conversational answer. MediWing is a medical-document intelligence platform: it turns your labs, prescriptions, and imaging reports into a sourced, printable report you can take to any doctor, in any country, in your language. Here’s how they actually differ.

A note on safety
A February 2026 Nature Medicine study from Mount Sinai (Ramaswamy et al.) stress-tested the January 2026 release of ChatGPT Health across 960 responses to clinician-authored vignettes. Among gold-standard emergencies, it undertriaged 52% — directing cases like diabetic ketoacidosis to 24–48h evaluation rather than the emergency department. This is why scope matters. A tool that advises how urgently to act inherits triage risk. MediWing doesn’t triage — it explains what your document actually says, states uncertainty explicitly, and flags anything requiring clinical judgment for your physician. A different job, with a different risk profile.
