MediWing does NOT provide medical advice. All interpretations are educational and informational only. You must:

• Consult your healthcare provider before making any medical decisions
• Never delay seeking medical advice because of information from MediWing
• Always verify AI interpretations with qualified healthcare professionals
• Call emergency services for medical emergencies

If you think you have a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.

To use MediWing, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old (or have parental consent)
• Provide accurate information when registering
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately if your account is compromised

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Don't share your login credentials.

You may:

• Upload your own medical documents
• Use AI interpretations for personal education
• Download and save your results

You may NOT:

• Upload documents that aren't yours without permission
• Use MediWing to diagnose or treat medical conditions
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or abuse our service
• Use MediWing for illegal activities
• Upload malicious files or spam our system

You own your medical documents. We process them to provide our service but don't claim ownership.

We take data privacy seriously. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Important: You have the right to download or delete your data at any time.

We use state-of-the-art AI (Claude Sonnet 5 by Anthropic), but AI can make mistakes.

• Interpretations may contain errors or inaccuracies
• AI doesn't have access to your full medical history
• Results are general education, not personalized medical advice
• We include confidence scores to indicate uncertainty
• Citations link to peer-reviewed PubMed literature so you can verify the basis for any interpretation

MediWing operates on a freemium model:

• Free Tier: 3 uploads and 3 analyses total (one-time)
• Credit Packs: Pay-as-you-go from $9.99 for 5 reports. Credits never expire.
• Pro Plan: 15 uploads and analyses per month for $19.99/month

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Credit pack purchases are one-time payments. Pro subscriptions involve recurring charges — you may cancel anytime.

Refund Policy: We offer refunds within 7 days of purchase if the service didn't work as expected. Contact support@medimindlab.com.

Your Documents: You retain all rights to your medical documents.

Our Service: MediWing's software, design, logo, and content are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

AI Interpretations: Generated analyses are provided for your personal use. You may share them with your healthcare providers.

Important Legal Protection:

MediWing is provided "as is" without warranties. We do our best to provide accurate interpretations, but we cannot guarantee accuracy or completeness.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• MediWing is NOT liable for medical decisions based on our interpretations
• We are NOT responsible for any health outcomes, damages, or losses
• You use our service entirely at your own risk
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months

We are an educational tool, not medical professionals. Always consult qualified healthcare providers.

MediWing is NOT a HIPAA-covered entity. We are not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse.

While we implement security measures to protect your data, we do not operate under HIPAA regulations. You voluntarily share your medical information with us for educational purposes.

If you need HIPAA-compliant medical services, please consult your healthcare provider directly.

You can stop using MediWing anytime. You may delete your account and all data through your account settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse our service, or engage in illegal activity.

We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

The "Last Updated" date at the top shows when changes were made.

MediWing is intended solely for use by adults (18+) who wish to better understand their own medical documents for personal educational purposes.

MediWing is NOT intended to: (a) diagnose, cure, treat, mitigate, or prevent any disease or health condition; (b) substitute for the professional judgment of a licensed healthcare provider; or (c) serve as the sole basis for any clinical decision without independent professional review.

The phrase "diagnose, cure, treat, mitigate, or prevent any disease" is the definitional boundary under U.S. law (21 U.S.C. § 321(h)) that distinguishes medical devices from educational and wellness tools. MediWing is an educational tool.

MediWing's drug interaction feature provides reference-level information from FDA drug label data (OpenFDA), the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS), and clinical databases. This information is for educational awareness only.

Severity indicators in the drug interaction display describe database-level classification only. They do not account for your individual clinical situation, current doses, duration of use, or medical history.

MediWing can analyze psychiatric evaluations and mental health documents. Interpretations of mental health records require particularly careful context that AI cannot fully provide.

MediWing is designed and operated as an educational technology product under U.S. law. It is not registered as a medical device in any jurisdiction, including the European Union (MDR 2017/745), United Kingdom, Canada, Israel, Mexico, or other markets.

Users accessing MediWing from outside the United States do so at their own discretion and are responsible for ensuring their use complies with local laws and regulations applicable to health information technology in their jurisdiction.
